3) What We Collect

• Information you provide (e.g., email for newsletter, messages you send us, feedback forms, optional details you choose to type into tools or the chat).
• AI chat content you enter into VetClaimAgent. Avoid sensitive personal data.
• Device/usage data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location (from IP), and similar technical logs.
• Cookies/trackers (see “Cookies & Tracking”).

No PHI/HIPAA services: We are not a healthcare provider and do not offer HIPAA-covered services. Please do not share protected health information.

4) How We Use Information

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site, tools, and chat experience.
• Communicate with you (e.g., respond to messages, send newsletters you requested—unsubscribe anytime).
• Analyze usage to understand what content and tools are helpful.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

GDPR legal bases (EU/EEA/UK): performance of a contract; legitimate interests (site operation, improvement, security); consent (where required); legal obligations.

5) When We Share Information

• Service providers that help us host the site (e.g., WordPress/Hostinger), send email, provide analytics, or power AI features. They are bound to use the data only to provide their services to us.
• Legal when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business changes such as a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (your information may be transferred with appropriate notice).

We do not sell personal information.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand usage. Categories may include:

7) AI Assistant (VetClaimAgent)

• VetClaimAgent provides general information. It does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice, and it does not file claims.
• Do not enter Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, dates of birth, medical records, or other sensitive personal data.
• We may store chat logs to operate, secure, and improve the assistant. We may share logs with service providers who power the AI—only to provide the service to us.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use the site accordingly.

9) Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

10) Your Privacy Rights

Virginia (VCDPA): Virginia residents may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of personal data in a portable format, and may opt out of targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell personal data. To exercise rights, email info@myvetresources.com. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying “APPEAL” to our response. You may also contact the Virginia Attorney General.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You may request access, correction, deletion, and to limit certain uses/disclosures of sensitive personal information (which we ask you not to provide). We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA/UK (GDPR): You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where we rely on it.

11) Children’s Privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

12) International Users

We are U.S.-based. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you agree that your information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your country.

13) “Do Not Track”

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we do not currently respond to these signals.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, we will provide additional notice.
