The VA Formula
VA doesn’t simply add percentages. Instead, each new rating is applied to your remaining “efficiency” (health).
Step 1: Start with highest rating
Step 2: Apply next rating to remaining %
Step 3: Round to nearest 10%
Example Calculation
50% + 30% + 20%
50% → 50% disabled, 50% healthy
30% of remaining 50% = 15%
20% of remaining 35% = 7%
Total: 50% + 15% + 7% = 72%
Final: 70% (rounded)
