Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026. What we collect, what we don't, and how advertising works on this site.

Plain-English summary

MyVetResources requires no account and asks for no personal information to use any guide, calculator, or VetClaimAgent. Calculators and the agent run in your browser; we don't store your inputs on our servers. Like most websites, we use analytics and serve advertising (Google AdSense), which involve cookies — details below, with opt-outs.

Information we collect

  • Nothing you type into tools. Calculator inputs and VetClaimAgent conversations are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored by us.
  • Email, if you subscribe. Used only to send the updates you asked for; unsubscribe any time.
  • Standard technical data. Our hosting provider and analytics record typical server-log information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL — used in aggregate to understand what content helps veterans and to keep the site secure.

Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display advertising, which keeps every tool on this site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

Analytics

We use analytics tooling to measure aggregate traffic and content performance. This data is not used to identify individual visitors. You can limit analytics collection with browser settings or extensions such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Third-party links

Guides link extensively to VA.gov and other external sites. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only myvetresources.com.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on your state (including rights under laws like the CCPA/CPRA and VCDPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Because we collect so little, most requests resolve to "we hold nothing about you" — but email contact@myvetresources.com and we'll respond.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
